DENBY LANGLEY CHATSWORTH DESIGN LIDDED TUREEN
The Chatsworth design, part of the 'natural homemaker' series marketed by Denby, under the Langley brand is a classic example of mid-20th-century British tableware. The tureen base is a rich blue (in keeping with the rest of collection) . The lid is adorned with a large, central flower in hues of blue, grey, and brown, embodying the era's aesthetic of simplicity and natural motifs.
The dimensions of this tureen is as follows height without the lid approx. 2.75”, with the lid to the top of the finial approx. 5.00”, the open top diameter 7.25”, and handle to handle approx. 10.25”.
Notably, the tureen does not carry the back stamp as the side plates that bear the Langley backstamp, a mark of authenticity for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage ceramics. For those who appreciate the charm and craftsmanship of historical Denby designs.

Beautiful brilliant blue Denby from thre1960’s. A design by Glyn Colledge based on Gill Pemberton’s original shapes from the Mayflower collection.
