First seen in 1964 this design in the Classic shape from J & G Meakin, possibly from their new premises in Hanley. In the J & G history there is little written about Blue Nordic, but it is one of those designs that has stood the test of time.
The sugar basin is in excellent condition, clear bright white porcelain with the blue free style floral pattern, and obviously free from chips and cracks. It has had very little use.
It stands approx. 2.75”/6.5cm high with an open top diameter of 4.75”/11.5cm.
This item does not carry the same back stamp as the other items but has an inprinted J & G Meakin England backstamp.
