Vintage J & G Meakin Blue Nordic coffee pot. An iconic shape and design
First seen in 1964 this design in the Classic shape from J & G Meakin, possibly from their new premises in Hanley. In the J & G history there is little written about Blue Nordic, but it is one of those designs that has stood the test of time.
The coffee pot is in excellent condition, clear bright white porcelain with the blue free style floral pattern, and obviously free from chips and cracks.
The coffee pot stands approx. 9”/23cm top the top of the finial on the lid, from handle to tip of spout it is also approx. 9”/23cm. The base diameter is approx. 3.75”/9.5cm.
The backstamp is very clear with the Classic White signature.
