This is a Huckerback or Huck Linen Towel. Originally this material was a medium to heavy Irish linen made on a dobby loom.

It has a honeycomb texture for best absorbency.

This Huckerback towel measures approx. 40” by 22”. It has a very nice crochet pattern at one end and a drawn work pattern at the other end.

For honesty and accuracy the white ‘buttons’ across the top of the table cloth are magnets holding it to the frame for photographing.

This item is free from marks and other flaws and is recently laundered and line dried in the Lincolnshire fresh air. It is stored as all my items are in paper and cellphane bags. Prior to despatch the item will be starched, as storing starched items can lead to discoloration.

All my items come from a smoke free and pet free environment.
